New Middleton Baptist Church Kids on Missions learned about a church in Montreal, Canada, that helped at a food bank. The children wanted to collect food for the food bank in Smith County. They asked the church to donate food items they liked, such as Spaghetti-O's, peanut butter and cereal and they also agreed on canned vegetables. Pictured are Kinsley Stinnett, Caleb Cripps, Harper Cripps, Jaxon Suthard and Grace Stinnett. Glenda Baker is the Kids on Missions Leader and Bro. B.J. Thomason is the pastor.

Clark Brown retired as pastor of Sylvia Baptist Church in Dickson after 21 years of service. He is pictured with a rifle the deacon body gave him as a retirement gift.

Tipton Christian Academy has baptized over 30 students in the last two years. As a ministry of First Baptist Church Covington, TCA started in 1979 as a preschool, and the church voted to begin adding one grade per year in 2008. This year they celebrated their sixth graduating class. As Tipton County’s only Christian School, the goal has never just been good grades but transforming hearts and families for Jesus Christ. Cliff Marion, Senior Pastor at FBC Covington, pictured far right, reported that many of their new members first visited church because their children said, “We want to go to church where we go to school.”
