TBC CP GIFTS REBOUND IN JANUARY

FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches gave $3,868,359 through the Cooperative Program in January.

For the year-to-date, Tennessee Baptists have given $9,302,057 through the CP giving channel.

After one-quarter of the fiscal year, gifts are $25,910 or 0.3 percent behind the amount given at the same time last year, but are $552,057 or 6.31 percent above budget needs.

“We are grateful for the generous and sacrificial giving of our TBC churches as they cooperate together to meet Great Commission causes in Tennessee and around the world,” said Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.

“We all celebrate the largest single day Cooperative Program receipts of $921,243.82,” Davis added. “That record was set on Jan. 19 by churches giving from all over Tennessee.” B&R
