TBC CP GIFTS NEAR BUDGET

Baptist and Reflector

BRENTWOOD — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches contributed $2,852,274 through the Cooperative Program in November.

After one month of the 2017-18 fiscal year, Cooperative Program gifts are $71,989 or 2.5 percent below what was given after one month in the last fiscal year.

Gifts also are $22,726 or 0.79 percent below budget needs.

Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, is optimistic.

I had breakfast recently with a young church planter and his enthusiasm for the gospel is contagious, Davis related.

But it also blessed my heart when he shared that his church plant is committed to give 10 percent through the Cooperative Program to Great Commission work in Tennessee and around the nation and globe.

That conversation greatly encouraged me about the future of our working together through the Cooperative Program.  Thank you Tennessee Baptists for your faithful & sacrificial giving,  he said.
