SUMMIT 2022: PASTORS CONFERENCE OFFICERS ELECTED

Officers for the pastors’ conference were elected on Monday at the conclusion of the morning session.
Grant Gaines, pastor of Belle Aire Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, was elected as president-elect. Gaines was nominated by Fred Schakelford of Ellendale Baptist Church, Bartlet. Gaines ran unopposed.
Alan Stewart, senior pastor at Rechoboth Baptist Church, Soddy-Daisy, was elected as secretary-treasurer-elect. Stewart, who was unopposed, was nominated by Dennis Culbreth, director of missions for Hamilton County Association.
Gaines and Stewart will began serving their positions at next year’s Summit.
Ternae Jordan, who was elected last year, will serve as president for the coming year.
