RECORD SET FOR GOTM!

Baptist and Reflector

FRANKLIN — With four months to go, Tennessee Baptist Convention churches have given a record amount through the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions — $1,976,260.

The previous high was $1,948,485, given in 2019-20.

The amount given to date is 31.04 percent ahead of last year, and is 13.72 percent ahead of the amount given when the previous record was set.

With each gift, a new record will be set until the 2021-22 GOTM year ends Aug. 31.

The GOTM is projected to exceed $2 million and reach the $2.1 million goal for the year.

“The generosity of Tennessee Baptist’s historic giving through the Golden Offering is a clear indicator that we see our state as a mission field, any way you slice it,” said Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.

“Thank you for your incredible and faithful giving.” B&R
