NEW WEBSITE STREAMLINES MISSION OFFERING PROMO MATERIALS

Baptist and Reflector

FRANKLIN – Tennessee churches now have a convenient new way to secure promotional materials for their annual mission offerings.

The newly launched TNWMUOrder.org serves as a centralized hub where congregations can place standing orders for materials supporting three key mission initiatives: the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, and Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions.

“The user-friendly platform allows church leaders to view and update their orders at any time,” said Vickie Anderson, Executive Director-Treasurer for Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.

Churches can also choose whether materials are shipped to the church address or a personal address, providing added flexibility.

All previous standing orders have been reset, so churches will need to establish a new standing order through the website.

What’s Available

The Tennessee Woman’s Missionary Union provides printed promotional materials including posters, prayer guides, and envelopes for all three offerings. Additional resources like videos and digital downloads are available through each offering’s dedicated websites.

Tennessee WMU partners with the national WMU, the International Mission Board, and the North American Mission Board to distribute materials for the Annie Armstrong and Lottie Moon offerings, while collaborating with the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board for Golden Offering materials.

According to Anderson, these promotional materials “help to provide awareness and encourage churches and people to give, pray, and serve.” The offerings enable Southern Baptists and Tennessee Baptists to “do more together to reach the world, the U.S., and Tennessee for Christ.”

Shipping Schedule

Standing orders are processed and shipped according to the following timeline:

  • Annie Armstrong Easter Offering: Ships by the end of January
  • Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions: Ships by the end of July
  • Lottie Moon Christmas Offering: Ships by the end of October

Churches can place additional orders throughout the year, with materials typically arriving within two weeks of the request.
