The ministry effort done by Tennessee Baptist churches through the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board would not be possible without the generous financial giving of Tennessee Baptists. That’s especially true as Tennessee Baptists respond to disaster relief needs such as we’ve seen this year with the Gatlinburg fires and Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Here is a brief explanation to help you understand how your financial gifts through the Cooperative Program, Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions, and special gifts to disaster relief are used in support of our overall disaster relief strategy.

Cooperative Program and GOTM funds allow Tennessee Baptist Disaster Relief to be ready to respond when a disaster occurs by:

Special contributions made by individuals and churches designated for disaster relief are used in direct victim relief. In other words, 100 percent of those donations are applied in helping people because Cooperative Program and GOTM giving have made it possible for Tennessee Baptists to have an equipped and experienced disaster response at the ready.
