DR UPDATE: CHAIN SAW TEAMS NEEDED IN MEMPHIS AREA

Wes Jones, disaster relief specialist for the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, sent out a message on Wednesday that chain saw teams are needed in the Memphis area, specifically in the Bartlett and Millington areas.

Jones said Tennessee Baptist DR has received over 180 work requests. He said the following volunteers are needed:

  • Chaplains
  • Assessors
  • Chain saw teams
  • Heavy equipment operators bucket for truck/skid steers
  • Four-to-five person feeding teams

Teams are needed now through the rest of the month, he said.

The DR teams will be working out of Bellevue Baptist Church. (Located at 2000 Appling Road, Cordova, 38016).
