cityreach_knoxvilleKNOXVILLE —  A City Reach Knoxville Ministry Tour is planned for Nov. 16-17.

During the annual meeting of the Tennessee Baptist Convention held during The Summit next week in Sevierville, messengers will vote on City Reach, a plan to reach the five metro associations in the state. The first effort would be in Knoxville.

City Reach Knoxville is a partnership between the TBC and the Knox County Association of Baptists to mobilize churches from across Tennessee to be on mission in Knoxville.

A meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the Knox County Baptist Association office at 7709 Westland Drive in Knoxville. There will be an introduction to the city and an orientation to ministry needs.

On Thursday, Nov. 17, there will be a tour to various ministry sites from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
