TBC CP GIFTS REBOUND IN JANUARY

FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches gave $3,868,359 through the Cooperative Program in January.  For the year-to-date, Tennessee Baptists have given $9,302,057 through the CP giving channel.  After one-quarter of the fiscal year, gifts are $25,910 or 0.3 percent behind the amount given at the same time last year, but are $552,057 or 6.31 percent above budget needs.

TBF PRESIDENT ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT PLANS

FRANKLIN — Bill Gruenewald, president-treasurer of the Tennessee Baptist Foundation since 2014, has announced his plans to retire on Oct. 31.  Gruenewald informed TBF trustees of his intentions at their December board meeting. FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches gave $2,519,808 through the Cooperative Program in December. For the year-to-date, Tennessee Baptists have given $5,433,698 through the Cooperative Program giving channel which funds missions and ministry in Tennessee, the nation and around the world. After two months of the 2023-24 fiscal year, gifts from TBC churches are $399,636 or 6.85 percent below budget needs.
