B&R DAY SET FOR AUG. 25

Baptist and Reflector

FRANKLIN — Sunday, Aug. 25, has been set aside on the Tennessee Baptist Convention calendar as Baptist and Reflector Day.

The Baptist and Reflector is the official news journal of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board and Tennessee Baptists. First published in 1835, the B&R has been telling the story of Tennessee Baptists for 184 years.

The B&R is offering free copies of the Aug. 21 issue to any Tennessee Baptist church that currently does not subscribe for the majority of its members. “We want Tennessee Baptists to know about their newspaper,” said editor Lonnie Wilkey. “For the paper to continue to thrive in the years to come, we need to increase our print circulation,” he added.

While stories are readily available on the website, the paper is the complete package that Tennessee Baptists can have at their disposal, he noted.

To order copies of the Aug. 21 issue, complete the form below, or call Mary Nimmo at 615-371-7929.
