TENN. BAPTISTS GIVE GENEROUSLY, BUT GIFTS BELOW BUDGET TO DATE

FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches gave $2,790,539 through the Cooperative Program in December.
After two months of the 2022-23 Cooperative Program budget year, Tennessee Baptists have given $5,556,043.
Gifts are $325,495 or 5.5 percent below the amount given after the first two months of the last budget year. CP gifts are $277,290 or 4.75 below budget needs.
Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, is optimistic that Tennessee Baptists will rise to the challenge in 2023 to meet missions and ministry needs in Tennessee and around the world.
“We are grateful for how our churches have faithfully responded to Great Commission needs during an economic downturn and the holiday season which may have delayed some churches from sending their CP gifts in December,” Davis said. B&R
