FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches contributed $2,953,502 through the Cooperative Program in April.

After the first six months of the 2021-22 fiscal year, Tennessee Baptists have given $18,063,894 through Southern Baptists’ missions and ministry giving channel. 

The amount is $449,918 or 2.6 percent over the amount given over the same time frame last year and is $563,894 or 3.22 percent over budget needs. The total also is the largest midyear amount recorded since 2011-12.

“In these extraordinary times filled with serious challenges and great opportunities, Tennessee Baptist churches are giving of their resources with extraordinary generosity,” said Randy C. Davis, executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.
