FRANKLIN — Tennessee Baptist Convention churches contributed $3,042,521 through the Cooperative Program in April.

For the year-to-date, Tennessee Baptists have given $17,613,976. The amount is $310,631 or 1.8 percent over the amount given at the same time last year and is $113,976 or 0.65 percent over budget needs after six months of the 2020-21 fiscal year.

“We continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity of Tennessee Baptists through the pandemic,” said Randy C. Davis, president and executive director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.

“Our churches are not only meeting ministry and mission needs in their own communities, they are also meeting  needs in our state and around the world. We are so grateful for their commitment to the Great Commission through their Cooperative Program giving,” Davis said. B&R
