B&R HAS NEW ADVERTISING CONTACTS

Baptist and Reflector

FRANKLIN — With the recent retirement of Mary Nimmo, the Baptist and Reflector editorial staff has made changes regarding the contact information for those wanting to place classified ads and other advertisements.

Linda Brooks will serve as the “primary contact” in the coming weeks. She can be reached by phone at 615.371.2003 and by email at [email protected].

Nimmo retired last month after nearly 40 years with the B&R. (See full story in the April 2 print edition of the B&R or read the story online at baptistandreflector.org).

Nimmo handled a wide variety of roles during her tenure, including serving as advertising/circulation assistant prior to her retirement.

“It’s impossible to put into words how much Mary has meant to the Baptist and Reflector,” said Chris Turner, editor of the B&R. “She has been a tireless worker, taking diligence in every assignment. More than that, she was the heartbeat of the newspaper and was a great ambassador for the TBMB as a whole.”

Although she served mostly behind the scenes, Nimmo was well known, and well loved, across the state, Turner said.

“Mary made contact with — and served — a countless number of people in her time with us,” said Turner.  “For many people around the state, she was their personal connection to the B&R.” B&R
