Memphian to be Nominated for SBPC Office

BRENTWOOD — Jeremy Westbrook, pastor of Living Hope Church in Marysville, Ohio, will be nominated for vice president of the Southern Baptist Pastors Conference next week in Baltimore.

The Pastors Conference precedes the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention which will be held June 10-11.

Westbrook will be nominated by Jim Collier, pastor of Kirby Woods Baptist Church, Memphis.

Westbrook is the lead pastor of Living Hope Church, a 5-year-old church plant of Kirby Woods, Collier noted.

“The church has baptized 164 people in those five years and the church currently averages 400 people on Sunday morning,” Collier said.

Westbrook is a native of Memphis and holds degrees from the University of Memphis, Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, Cordova; and the Billy Graham School at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky.
