Chris Kelly Joins TBF Staff

Baptist and Reflector

BRENTWOOD — Chris Kelly has been named executive vice president and general counsel of the Tennessee Baptist Foundation, effective July 1.

Kelly, who is an attorney and trust officer, is a deacon and Sunday School teacher and has served on several committees at Third Baptist Church, Murfreesboro. He has served on the TBF board of trustees since 2012. He served on the investment committee and was vice chair of the Executive Committee of the Foundation in 2014.

Since 2008, Kelly has served as senior vice president and trust officer of Pinnacle Financial Partners.

“I am excited to have Chris come and serve on our Foundation staff,” said Bill Gruenewald, president/treasurer of TBF.

He observed God was at work in the process of bringing Kelly on board as a staff member.

Gruenewald cited Kelly’s knowledge of the Foundation’s ministry. “As an attorney and trust officer, he is bringing gifts and talents that the Foundation will truly benefit from in the years ahead,” Gruenewald said.
